Urbano Parks announces the construction of the Urbano Cluj Vest logistics park, a strategic investment of 14 million Euro

Cluj-Napoca, February 18, 2020 - Urbano Parks, a group of developers from Cluj-Napoca, announces the construction of the Urbano Cluj Vest logistics park (UCV), a strategic project for local infrastructure. So far, the estimated value of the investment for the industrial park amounts to 14 million euros. The Urbano Parks investor group consists of Mircea Ilea, Alexandru Serban and Daniel Paraschiv

The logistics warehouse is located in Florești - Gilău area, with direct access to DN1, near the Gilău node of the Transylvania Highway (A3), 15 km away from Avram Iancu International Airport. Urbano Vest Cluj will have a built area of 24,500 m2, Class A and 5 ha total park area.

We are a group of developers from Cluj-Napoca, with over 20 years experience in real estate. In all these years, we have understood the needs of the market and, in particular, the facilities that we can make available to our clients in order to provide them with an optimal framework for their activity. Part of our development strategy, we aim to be with our partners, but also to contribute to supporting local infrastructure and development, by generating new jobs closer to home for the residents of the Floresti - Gilău area.Said Daniel Paraschiv, co-founder of Urbano Parks.

The construction works are in the graph, the first phase to be delivered in the spring of this year, and the second phase of the project has already begun. The Urbano Vest Cluj project will be used at full capacity later this year.

Once completed, the logistics warehouse will offer flexible rental options with areas between 1,152 and 7,488 square meters. The first tenants with whom the contract was signed are companies with Austrian shareholders: Englmayer and Schuller Eh`Klar, who rented over 4500 sqm2 office, technical and sanitary spaces, and storage spaces, thus facilitating jobs for 45 employees, in a first phase.

According to company representatives, the logistics park is developed according to the highest quality standards, offering top technological solutions implemented with sustainable materials, meant to significantly reduce the impact on the environment. The logistics park is classified in Class A, ticking all the defining characteristics: the short distance to the road infrastructure, the distance to the labor force and the characteristics of the building - sustainable materials, superior thermal insulation to reduce the thermal energy consumption, useful height of at least 10 m, automated ventilation systems, economical LED lighting systems, environmental and ISU permits.

The spaces of the industrial park are ideal for storage, fulfillment, archiving, cross docking, logistics and light production activities.
